1) Criticism will always be there. Some healthy and constructive, some, just for the sake of it because people found nothing better to do. Learning to differentiate where that criticism is coming from is key to growth, since being able to digest and accommodate for alternate perspective is key to problem solving. Though, you also have to understand where to make a stand for yourself and not let just vile comments affect you and your confidence. It is a thin line to walk on, but a very rewarding one.
2) It is okay to feel lost. In a human world full of subjectivities, half of the people don't know what they are doing, and the other half does things for the sake of it. Doing matters, and after the deed, being open to learning matters. Life is an active problem solving process.
3) You cannot be there for everyone, you cannot solve every problem that there is, you cannot change the world. But if all of us were there for just one person and stood by them while they learnt to navigate through their problems, you already are changing the world of one person, you are changing the world. Don't be imposing, be supportive. Humans find their way.
And always remember what they say about changing the world, it is difficult.
You have to decide if it is worth it.
4) Losing sight of your goal is okay, not being able to chase your dreams all the time is okay, you're not a machine meant to only finish the "tasks" that it has been given, you're more than that.
Choose your goals which make you more than that. The tasks will come easier. Having sight of a bigger picture always helps.
5) Chaos breeds creativity, routine breeds action. You need a balance of both. We evolved in an environment of uncertainty which kept us on our toes, but pushed through it via knowing a routine. Have a routine, but don't be complacent.
6) Love has it's limitations, so does motivation, and so do hopes. A stoic approach of acceptance of dynamicity of life gives the things that you want consistently, sustainability. You want to burn like the sun, not explode like a supernova, as pretty as it might be, it also is destructive.
Take care.
