The tormented demon

I'm probably a demon,

too busy finding reasons,

to run from my own hell,

my spirit prison,

I've looked for you everywhere,

in everything, everyone,,

hoping by possessing you,

I'll be free forever,

You're a demon too,

moving on,

from one body, to another,

I'm rather slow,

I take a step at a time,

It takes a while,

for me to,

be free of the memories,

reveries, of the bodies I've been in,

I can never move,

till I have forgotten,

and I, can never forget,

Because till you remember,

what has to be forgotten,

you can never forget it,

and so I just jump, along with

the shackles that have held me,

chained with the memories,

rage, Till I'm no longer me,

I'm free because I've once rebelled,

Yet I'm trapped, because I always,

always, have to rebel,

from one hell,

only to end up in another .
